SUMMARY:Drawing humans for kids!  | Saturday Morning Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Ages 8-15 \n$45 per student \nMax 10 \nAll materials provided\, but feel free to bring your favourite pencils or sketchbook to share with Katherine. \nGesture drawing is one of the most important\, but least understood parts of the figure drawing process. Join digital artist\, illustrator and instructor Katherine Olenic to guide you through the figure drawing process. This is a great beginner class for any young artist interested in learning to draw people! \n  \nAbout the Instructor: \nKatherine Olenic is a digital artist who has been drawing her whole life. She creates fantasy illustrations with vibrant colors and with a sense of wonder and imagination. Kathryn has been a freelance artist since 2015. DESCRIPTION:SATURDAY\, FEBRUARY 26\, 2022   |   9:30-12 PM \nAges 4-6 \nrescheduled to Saturday\, February 26\, 2022\n$45 per student |  Fee includes all materials; clay\, slip glaze and 2 firings. \nMax 10 kids in the class. \n This morning class is for our 4-6-year-old “clay enthusiasts”! \nJoin clay artist Annette Hansen for a get-messy\, hands-on morning of texture\, tools and best of all\, CLAY-play! Designed specifically for our youngest artists\, this workshop is a perfect introduction to the basics of hand building for curious makers with BIG imaginations! \n \nPLEASE NOTE!  Finished work will be taken to be kiln fired in Annette’s home studio and will be returned to the Art Centre for pick up on Saturday\, March 12 between 10-4pm in our Artisan Shop. Please make a note on your calendar. \n  \nAbout the Instructor: \n \nAnnette Hansen has been a clay artist for over 40 years. She graduated from Kolding Design School in Denmark where she studied ceramic art and design. \nAnnette recently owned COBALT GALLERY and clay studio in Toronto for over 15 years where she created her own work and pursued one of her other passions\, teaching pottery to adults and kids. She now lives in Hillsburgh\, Ontario with her husband and works out of her home studio. \n  \n  \n  \nTo ensure the health and safety of staff and participants\, the ECFTA will have a limited the number of registrants in accordance with WDGPH recommendations. Daily cleaning\, social distancing and masking will be in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
