DESCRIPTION:24 Week Winter/Spring Session  |  Thursdays 10AM-12PM \nThursday Supportive Arts sessions will resume in the Fall. \nWe understand the growing concern around the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19)and as promised we are closely monitoring the evolving health reports from reputable sources.  The health of our community\, staff and volunteers are the utmost importance to us. \nWe are following the advice of local public health agencies and other leaders in our community as information unfolds rapidly.  This morning our Executive committee made the tough decision to cancel our March Break program for this coming week.  In making these difficult decisions\, we hope to reduce the risk of spreading the virus\, and\, in turn\, protect our vulnerable populations.  Our hearts go out to all those impacted in Canada and across the world\, and we will do our part in helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19. \nWe will resume normal programming as soon as local health officials indicate it is safe to do so. \nThank you for your help and support of these difficult decisions. \n_____ \nJanuary 9 – Thursday June 25\, 2020 (24 sessions) \n*no class Thursday\, March 19 \nAges 18+ \n$288 for 24 sessions\, plus HST  (if you are not registering for the 24 sessions and would like to register for individual classes only please contact our office.  Individual sessions are $12 each) \nMax. 20 participants – please register in advance! \n  \nSupportive Arts for Adults 18+ \nAN ALL INCLUSIVE\, ALL ABILITIES WORKSHOP with ECFTA Arts Educators in collaboration with the FESTIVAL SINGERS \nJoin us for a guided morning workshop\, specifically designed to support adults of all abilities. Each Thursday we embrace diversity through art making\, movement and vocal explorations. \nEvery week is as unique as each of our participants!  Please bring your support worker if assistance is required.  Our ECFTA classroom is now wheelchair accessible!!

DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT\nTuesday Nights  |  January 7 – February 11\, 2020  |  6 – 9 PM \nBEGINNER – INTERMEDIATE WELCOME!  Get social and have fun learning new skills on Tuesday nights with artist Tim Murton in a creative and congenial environment. This 6 week course will feature a series of hands-on exercises designed to explore ways to express what you see\, feel or imagine. Explore composition\, line\, contour\, light and shadow\, atmospherics\, perspective\, golden mean\, contour and gesture. \nIdeal for the beginner to intermediate. All levels are welcome! \nStarter kit included the first week. (newsprint and conte).  A modest supply list will be suggested for subsequent weeks. Students are encouraged to bring any favourite drawing materials. \nAges 18+ \n$225 for the series\, plus HST \nMax 18 participants \n  \nAbout the Artist: \nTim Murton’s paintings have been exhibited at Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre Gallery\, Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery\, The Harbinger Gallery\, MacDonald Stewart Gallery in Guelph\, Art Gallery of Windsor\, Karger Gallery\, Elora Centre for the Arts and Chimaera Gallery in the UK\, among others.
