IExplore how colour\, texture\, and light come together inside the kiln to form vibrant\, one‑of‑a‑kind glass pieces perfect for gifting or decorating your home! \n \nSteph will introduce you to essential fused‑glass techniques in a relaxed environment designed for beginners and returning students alike. With step‑by‑step guidance\, you’ll learn how to: \n\n\nSelect and safely cut glass \n\n\nLayer transparent and opaque pieces for depth and dimension \n\n\nIncorporate decorative elements to enhance your design \n\n\nUnderstand how materials transform during firing \n\n\nChoose from one of Steph’s original ornament templates or bring your own idea to translate into glass. You’ll have access to a beautiful range of colours and materials as you experiment\, build confidence\, and craft a unique ornament ready for the kiln. \nLeave the workshop with fused‑glass holiday ornaments\, ready to be kiln-fired at Steph’s studio. Work will be returned to the Art Centre within 2 weeks. Participants will be emailed when work is ready for pick up. \n\n  \nFused glass is a labor-intensive process to prepare\, with a higher material cost.  \nPlease note\, there is a $30 kit fee payable to the instructor in cash or transfer at the start of class.  \nAll tools and materials will be provided in the kit fee.
