SUMMARY:LIFE DRAWING IN THE ATRIUM.  SEPTEMBER-JUNE
DESCRIPTION:SEPTEMBER – JUNE. \nEVERY 1ST + 3RD TUESDAY \n3-HOUR SELF-GUIDED SESSIONS WITH LIVE MODEL \nJoin us\,  the first and third Tuesday of each month for self-directed life drawing centered on creative flow\, shared space\, and working from the human form. This is a welcoming evening designed to support both personal practice and community connection. Come draw\, paint and reconnect with your practice alongside fellow artists! \n \n\nDraw from a professional nude model through a series of varying timed poses\, moving between quick\, energetic gestures and longer\, more contemplative holds.  \nThere is no formal instruction. Artists are free to work independently\, follow their own practice\, and use the materials and approach that suit them best. The atmosphere is respectful\, calm\, and centered on observation and creative focus. \nClasses will take place in the Atrium. Blinds will be lowered during all sessions to ensure privacy. \nEach session will be facilitated by an ECFTA staff member.  \nFor more information\, please contact us. \n\nArtists are asked to bring their own materials; \n\nBackboard and easel\nClips\nNewsprint\nDrawing or painting materials\nEasels and tables will be available as needed. \nWhen completing the registration form\, please specify in NOTES to request a table\, easel\, or drawing bench.\n\n

Join us Sept to June for weekly guided 2-hour workshops designed to support adults of all abilities. Each session embraces diversity and friendship through explorations in art making\, movement\, mindfulness and music. Every week is as unique as our participants!  \n \n\n  \nSUPPORTIVE ARTS is a unique program offering arts-based learning opportunities and compelling artistic experiences to individuals with varying abilities. We welcome adults and caregivers from Wellington County and the surrounding areas to our weekly guided art workshops led by ECFTA Arts Educators in an atmosphere of encouragement\, respect\, and self-expression. Every session is designed to deliver high0quality arts experiences that support not only artistic growth but also mental wellness and social connection. \n Workshops begin and end with mindfulness practices\, including gentle movement\, breathing exercises\, and creative visualization techniques that help participants reduce anxiety\, build focus\, and engage fully in the creative process. Sessions conclude with an artist sharing “exhibition” time\, creating opportunities for celebration\, reflection\, and supportive peer feedback where every participant’s voice is valued. \nOur bright and cheerful ECFTA classroom is wheelchair accessible and accommodates up to 14 participants\, with space for accompanying support workers and ECFTA volunteers. \nThe 2025-26 Supportive Arts season is supported by; \n\n\n\nWC Wood Foundation\nRotary Club of Fergus/Elora\nGuelph Community Foundation\nThe Township of Centre Wellington\nThe Foot Family Fund\nAnd many generous donors from our community\n\n  \n\n\nWe thank you! \n\n  \nThere are no REFUNDS for missed classes.
