Where opportunities to support the voices of our community groups are nurtured from the ground up! \n \nIn the Nest\, we believe that creative expression nurtures well-being and connection to others and we understand that healthy communities need inclusive spaces away from home\, work and school for connection and creativity! \n  \n\n  \nTEA SOCIAL FRIDAYS WITH STEPHANIE LINES-TOOHILL \nEVERY FRIDAY 10.30 am – 12.30pm \nSeptember-June.  No need to register. \n$10 cash. Join us Sept to June for weekly guided 2-hour workshops designed to support adults of all abilities. Each session embraces diversity and friendship through explorations in art making\, movement\, mindfulness and music. Every week is as unique as our participants!  \n \n\nSUPPORTIVE ARTS is a unique program offering arts-based learning opportunities and compelling artistic experiences to individuals with varying abilities. We welcome adults and caregivers from Wellington County and the surrounding areas to our weekly program led by ECFTA Arts Educators and Mindfulness Facilitator. \nOur bright and cheerful ECFTA classroom is wheelchair accessible and accommodates up to 14 participants\, with accompanying support workers and volunteers. \nThe 2025-26 Supportive Arts season is supported by; \n\nWC Wood Foundation\nRotary Club of Fergus/Elora\nThe Township of Centre Wellington\nThe Foot Family Fund\nLindy Green Family Foundation\nMarjorie and Joseph Wright Memorial Foundation\nAnd many generous individual donors from our community\n\nWe thank you! \n\n  \nThere are no REFUNDS for missed classes. DESCRIPTION:LIFE DRAWING IN THE ATRIUM.  3-HOUR SELF-GUIDED SESSIONS WITH LIVE MODEL \nJoin us on the first Tuesday of the month for self-directed life drawing centered on creative flow\, shared space\, and working from the human form. This is a welcoming evening designed to support both personal practice and community connection. Come draw\, paint and reconnect with your practice alongside fellow artists! \n \n\nDraw from a professional nude model through a series of varying timed poses\, moving between quick\, energetic gestures and longer\, more contemplative holds.  \nThere is no formal instruction. Artists are free to work independently\, follow their own practice\, and use the materials and approach that suit them best. The atmosphere is respectful\, calm\, and centered on observation and creative focus. \nClasses will take place in the Atrium space. Blinds will be lowered during all sessions to ensure privacy. \nEach session will be facilitated by an ECFTA staff member.  \nFor more information\, please contact us. \n\nArtists are asked to bring their own materials; \n\nEasel or backboard\nClips\nNewsprint\nDrawing or painting materials\n\n  \n\nEasels and table  will be available to work on.\nWhen completing the registration form\, please specify in the NOTE FIELD if you would like a table\, an easel\, or drawing bench\, as available.\n\n
