DESCRIPTION:MUSIC: THE BRIDGE BETWEEN SCIENCE AND THE HEART  |  HOW HARMONY WORKS \nThe science of acoustics and the history of thought and feeling in Music in the last 9 Centuries in one easy lesson.  Sounds improbable? Come and see! We will look briefly at a 14th Century mass\, a 15th Century mass\, music of John Dowland\, Pergolesi\, Handel\, and Wagner. \nNo experience necessary. Just bring your ears and your heart. \n \nLet local legend\, artist\, dancer and composer PETER SKOGGARD turn your ear and turn you on to some of his favourite topics during this casual lunchtime lectures in the ELORA CENTRE FOR THE ARTS studio classroom. \nTune up your grey matter and engage with the enigmatic Mr. Skoggard to refresh\, relearn or discover something new! \n$15 per person \n$10 seniors and students \nPay at the door. CASH ONLY.
