SUMMARY:Uncials & Celtic Knots St. Patrick's Workshop with Wendy Hardy

Spend time with Wendy Hardy time learning the basics of Uncials and create your own Celtic knot variations. Then get your Irish on\, using classic blessings and sayings to create unique pieces to frame or make into cards. \nWe will be lettering with the 3.8mm Pilot Parallel Pen or a dip pen with Speedball C2 nib and ink. Worksheets will be supplied for the lettering. This course includes instruction\, demonstrations and a fun calligraphic project\, with discussion around tools and best practices. \nNote: A $5 material fee is payable to the instructor at the start of class. \nSupply List: 3.8mm Pilot Parallel Pen (green cap) or dip pen\, C2 nib & ink. Since 1983\, she has continued her calligraphic journey with local and international workshops and instructors. She has been involved with the Royal City Calligraphy Guild for 18 years\, 6 of those as president. For several years\, she owned and operated Eden Place Village Glass and Gift in Eden Mills\, specializing in stained glass. Through her current business\, My Personal Scribe\, she takes commissions for certificates\, poems\, quotes and mailings that long for a personal touch.
