DESCRIPTION:ACRYLICS 101: MATERIALS & TECHNIQUES | WITH NATALIE MCDONALD \nAGES 16+ \nMAX 10 \n$90 plus HST  | Plus $10 kit fee payable to the instructor \nSOLD OUT\nRe-energize\, re-fresh or start from the ground up with acrylics! Explore the versatile effects of acrylic paints and mediums during this one-day workshop with artist Natalie McDonald. You will be introduced to a variety of acrylic mediums and tools to discover and develop additional skills and techniques to apply in your studio practice. \n \nNatalie will help you apply what you have learned by creating a small acrylic study and by the end of the day\, you will leave with a better understanding of the different mediums and products available\, and the results that acrylics can provide! \nAll materials provided.   Please note: there is a $10 kit fee\, payable in cash to the instructor at the start of class.. \nAbout the Instructor: \nNatalie McDonald is an artist currently living and working in Fergus\, Ontario. She studied at SDVA Georgian College in Barrie\, ON and NSCAD University in Halifax\, NS to complete her BFA degree\, and more recently the University of Calgary for her MFA degree. As a representational painter and mixed media artist\, Natalie creates work focused on the concept of time\, memory and transformation. Often inspired by her own past experiences she creates experiences that parallel others memories and creates a space for remembrance and contemplation. \nNatalie has exhibited widely since the early 2000s\, with solo exhibitions at TRUCK Contemporary Art\, Little Gallery\, Gallery 621\, Latitude 53\, Mezzanine Gallery\, Arts Commons\, EPCOR Centre\, Anna Leonownes Gallery and numerous group exhibitions across Canada. \n  \n  \n  \nHealth & Safety \n\nTo ensure the health and safety of staff and participants\, daily cleaning and masking will be in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.\nParticipants will be asked to complete a COVID-19 Liability Waiver.\nIf classes are cancelled for any reason due to Public Health concerns\, refunds will be given in full.

DESCRIPTION:Saturday May 7\, 2022  | 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM \nAges 16+  | Maximum 10 in the workshop \n$150 + HST \nBack by popular demand! You’ve seen these big squishy blankets everywhere\, now here’s your chance to make your own or make one for the “Mom” in your life! \nJoin us for this beginner-friendly workshop! Martina from The Blanket Babes will teach you everything that you need to know from casting on to finishing your blanket. No needles or knitting experience is required and all supplies will be provided. The entire project will be finished in 3 hours. All you have to do is choose your blanket colour and show up ready to learn the art of hand-knitting! The blanket size will be approximately 45×55 \n \nPlease select your colour choice for your blanket when you register for this workshop (please email us your colour choice after registering)! Colour choices: peony pink\, dark grey\, vintage white\, and mint dreams. \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n\nAbout the Instructor: \n I’m Martina\, a dog mama to two labs and a caregiver for my Grandfather from small-town Ontario!
