DESCRIPTION:We welcome SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS for Grades K-12! \nMorning or afternoon sessions designed to inspire creativity and connect learning with the arts. Experience the power of Art in our art classroom and newly expanded Gallery + Atrium at the Elora Centre for the Arts. \n \nAt the Elora Centre for the Arts\, we offer a balance of discussion\, exploration\, and hands-on art-making that supports learning and sparks imagination. Programs are tailored to complement the current exhibition themes in our gallery. Students will encounter fresh ideas and artwork throughout the school year\, September to June. \n  \n\n\n2–2.5 hour sessions\nAn interactive learning experience led by an ECFTA Artist-Educator\nVisit the current exhibition in our main gallery and learn something new about the creative process.\nCreate a hands-on art project in our art classroom\, connecting students to learning and the exhibition\nWe can accommodate up to 2 rotating classes per visit (dependent on class size)\n$10 per student\n\n  \nBook your school visit today and give your students the gift of creativity\, discovery and inspiration at the Art Centre! \n\n  \nFor more information or to book\, please contact Judy

SUMMARY:LIFE DRAWING IN THE ATRIUM. SEPTEMBER - JUNE. EVERY 1ST + 3RD TUESDAY
DESCRIPTION: LIFE DRAWING IN THE ATRIUM.  3-HOUR SELF-GUIDED SESSIONS WITH LIVE MODEL \nJoin us\,  the first and third Tuesday of each month for self-directed life drawing centered on creative flow\, shared space\, and working from the human form. This is a welcoming evening designed to support both personal practice and community connection. Come draw\, paint and reconnect with your practice alongside fellow artists! \n \n\nDraw from a professional nude model through a series of varying timed poses\, moving between quick\, energetic gestures and longer\, more contemplative holds.  \nThere is no formal instruction. Artists are free to work independently\, follow their own practice\, and use the materials and approach that suit them best. The atmosphere is respectful\, calm\, and centered on observation and creative focus. \nClasses will take place in the Atrium. Blinds will be lowered during all sessions to ensure privacy. \nEach session will be facilitated by an ECFTA staff member.  \nFor more information\, please contact us. \n\nArtists are asked to bring their own materials; \n\nEasel or backboard\nClips\nNewsprint\nDrawing or painting materials\nEasels and tables will be available as needed.
