SUMMARY:Free Shuttle Bus on Weekends around Elora & Fergus (bus stop at the Arts Centre!!)
DESCRIPTION:Every Saturday and Sunday from May 18 – September 8th from 11AM – 5PM!   \nYou can hop on / hop off the free shuttle that runs throughout Elora and Fergus!  Park your car and ride the shuttle to all of the points of interest – and it’s FREE!  Check out the map graphic below for the stops and times! A round trip would take an hour\, but make a day of it and plan a day of it!  NEW bus stop at the front doors of the Elora Centre for the Arts! \n \n \n  \nMake sure you get off at the NEW BUS STOP located at the FRONT DOORS OF THE ARTS CENTRE!  Don’t forget we have a picnic area and outdoor art pathway to visit\, as well as our gallery\, artisan shop and events! \n  \nThe Elora and Fergus Downtown Shuttle offers a round-trip service every hour\, on the hour from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. throughout the summer months. The shuttle stops at the following locations: \n\nGrand River Raceway (starting point 00:00)\nMacDonald Square (00:05 and 00:50)\nElora Centre for the Arts/Bissell Park (00:10 and 00:45)\nWellington County Museum and Archives (00:15 and 00:40)\nFergus Marketplace (00:20 and 00:35)\nCentre Wellington Sportsplex (00:30)\n\n  \n \nFor more information please visit the Township website here.

SUMMARY:Pavilion Summer Concert Series at the Elora Centre for the Arts: featuring Jessica Sevier
DESCRIPTION:Jessica Sevier will kick off our Pavilion Summer Concert series!  Toronto’s Jessica Sevier is a country music artist\, vocalist\, and multi-instrumentalist making waves with her latest single\, a nostalgic country-rock tune\, “Legends of Summer”. Since her debut single “Ghost of Tom” in 2019\, Sevier’s music has been collectively streamed over 1 million times. \nPerforming live has been a key part of growing her audience\,and Sevier has shared the stage with artists including Jason McCoy and Tim and the Glory Boys\, and has performed at music festivals and renowned venues including Whisky Jam in Nashville and the legendary Lee’s Palace in Toronto. Sevier has also showcased at Canadian Music Week each year since 2021. \n \n“Legends of the Summer” is perfectly suited for the season\, and features Sevier’s distinct and sultry vocals with lyrics evoking cherished memories of past young love. The track is produced by Matt Koebel and written by powerhouse country songwriters Emma Lee\, Karen Kosowski\, Jessica Cayne\, and Maddie Walker. Upon release in May 2023\, the track received editorial support from DSPs and was immediately added at SiriusXM. \nSevier’s charisma and expressive voice caught the attention of Sony/ATV and Liz Rose Music’s most talented songwriters\, leading to Sevier recording her successful single “Confetti”\, released in March 2022. Produced in Nashville alongside Grady Saxman (Luke Combs and Tenille Arts)\, “Confetti” was a significant breakthrough\, earning extensive airplay on Canadian country radio and racking up over 400\,000 streams. The track secured the #1 spot on the Canadian Indie Country Radio Charts\, solidifying Jessica’s presence in the country music landscape. \nA testament to her talent as a songwriter\, Sevier earned a spot to compete on the TV show The Shot: Remastered in 2020\, and her music captivated audiences. She also earned recognition as a top 7 artist to watch at the 2022 CMW (Canadian Music Week) Featured Artist/Performer.
