If so\, please email programming@ecfta.ca if you would require special Passport receipts. \nMax. 14 spaces |  Ages 18+  |  $252 + hst for all 14 weeks  \nParticipants please register for the full season block. No charge for support workers or caregivers. \nSUPPORTIVE ARTS is a unique program offering arts-based learning opportunities and compelling artistic experiences to individuals with varying abilities. We welcome adults and caregivers from Wellington County and the surrounding areas to our weekly program\, led by ECFTA Arts Educators and Mindfulness Coach. \nJoin us for a guided 2-hour workshop designed to support adults of all abilities. Each session\, we will embrace diversity and friendship through explorations in art making\, movement\, mindfulness and music. Every week is as unique as each of our participants!  \nOUR SPACE Our bright and cheerful ECFTA classroom is wheelchair accessible and accommodates up to 14 participants\, with accompanying support workers and volunteers. \n Supportive Arts is offered at a subsidized rate\, thanks to the Centre Wellington 100 Women Who Care and our Spring Fundraising Gala! \n \nREFUNDS please note\, there is no refund for missed classes. SUMMARY:Free Shuttle Bus on Weekends around Elora & Fergus (bus stop at the Arts Centre!!)
DESCRIPTION:Every Saturday and Sunday from May 18 – September 8th from 11AM – 5PM!   \nYou can hop on / hop off the free shuttle that runs throughout Elora and Fergus!  Park your car and ride the shuttle to all of the points of interest – and it’s FREE!  Check out the map graphic below for the stops and times! A round trip would take an hour\, but make a day of it and plan a day of it!  NEW bus stop at the front doors of the Elora Centre for the Arts! \n \n \n  \nMake sure you get off at the NEW BUS STOP located at the FRONT DOORS OF THE ARTS CENTRE!  Don’t forget we have a picnic area and outdoor art pathway to visit\, as well as our gallery\, artisan shop and events! \n  \nThe Elora and Fergus Downtown Shuttle offers a round-trip service every hour\, on the hour from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. throughout the summer months. The shuttle stops at the following locations: \n\nGrand River Raceway (starting point 00:00)\nMacDonald Square (00:05 and 00:50)\nElora Centre for the Arts/Bissell Park (00:10 and 00:45)\nWellington County Museum and Archives (00:15 and 00:40)\nFergus Marketplace (00:20 and 00:35)\nCentre Wellington Sportsplex (00:30)\n\n  \n \nFor more information please visit the Township website here.

DESCRIPTION:WILD GARDEN | OIL PAINTING  \nWEEKEND WORKSHOP | with RICK WORTHINGTON \nSaturday & Sunday\, June 15 & 16\, 2024   \n10 am-4 pm both days \nAGES 16+  |  MAX 10 (min. 6 students required) \n$250 + hst   |  $20 kit fee  \nSpaces available! \nExplore the art of oil painting with Elora artist Rick Worthington in this two-day workshop as we look to the wildflower garden for inspiration! Learn how to find your way to clear design in your painting and how to lay down clean colour notes\, akin to the techniques of the Impressionists. \n \nRick will share techniques on composition\, contrast\, depth\, and guide you through the development of precise values. Using a limited palette of warm and cool primary colours\, artists will learn colour-mixing skills to develop their own paintings with depth and contrast. The workshop kicks off with a painting demonstration by Rick on the first morning\, followed by dedicated time for students to work on their own wild garden-inspired masterpieces. \nThis workshop is designed for students seeking to refine their skills. Beginners are warmly welcomed! \n$20 kit fee is payable to the instructor at the start of class for those who wish to purchase supplies. Kit fee includes oil paint\, odourless solvent\, reference image\, brushes etc \nArtists with their own oils and brushes are welcome to bring their own kit. \nStudents are asked to provide their own canvas\, their choice of level. 12×12\, 12×16\, 16×20\, 20×20\, or 24×24 \nStanding easels will be available for those that would like to use them.  \nReference photos will be provided. Artists are also welcome to also bring their own source photo. \n  \n \n  \nIF YOU CANCEL \nCancellations up to 14 days prior to start date will receive a full refund\, less a $25 administrative fee. No refund of fees will apply to cancellations within 14 days of start date. Fees may be applied/credited to an alternate workshop depending on availability. \nIF WE CANCEL \nTo help ensure the course you’re interested in runs\, we suggest you register no less than two weeks in advance. In the event of insufficient registrations ECFTA reserves the right to cancel workshops.
