DESCRIPTION:THE NEST! An after school drop-in space for ages 10+ \nPlease check back for the next session registration information! \nWhat is the Nest?  A space to relax and create in our sunny studio at the Elora Centre for the Arts! Just bring YOU and any projects you’re working on\, non-digital games\, homework\, water bottle and snack if you wish. This is an open flow\, gender diverse space for gently guided creativity and gathering with friends. \nThis is a safe student space for student led projects guided by an ECFTA Arts Facilitator. \n \n \nEach week\, we will provide tea\, a snack. a limited variety of materials each week and engagement with ECFTA Arts Facilitators.  Everyone welcome! \n\nStudents will be asked to sign in and out independently.  \nParents are not required to accompany their children.\nThis is a program to encourage independence.  It is the responsibility of each family to ensure that their child arrives safely.  If parents would like confirmation of arrival\, please instruct your child to use our landline or their own cell phone to check in.\nPlease note\, electronic devices will not be allowed once the program starts.\n\n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:SPRING 2024 Wednesday Classes  |  14-week series \nWEDNESDAY mornings  |  March 20 – June 19\, 2024  |  10 am – 12 pm \nWeekly inclusive ART & mindfulness WEDNESDAY WORKSHOPS for adults with varying abilities. \nsold out \n \nAre you a Passport funding recipient? If so\, please email programming@ecfta.ca if you would require special Passport receipts. \nMax. 14 spaces |  Ages 18+  |  $252 + hst for all 14 weeks  \nParticipants please register for the full season block. No charge for support workers or caregivers. \nSUPPORTIVE ARTS is a unique program offering arts-based learning opportunities and compelling artistic experiences to individuals with varying abilities. We welcome adults and caregivers from Wellington County and the surrounding areas to our weekly program\, led by ECFTA Arts Educators and Mindfulness Coach. \nJoin us for a guided 2-hour workshop designed to support adults of all abilities. Each session\, we will embrace diversity and friendship through explorations in art making\, movement\, mindfulness and music. Every week is as unique as each of our participants!  \nOUR SPACE Our bright and cheerful ECFTA classroom is wheelchair accessible and accommodates up to 14 participants\, with accompanying support workers and volunteers. \n Supportive Arts is offered at a subsidized rate\, thanks to the Centre Wellington 100 Women Who Care and our Spring Fundraising Gala! \n \nREFUNDS please note\, there is no refund for missed classes.
