Practical Magic & Witch Crafts

This light-hearted workshop will explore the lore of the season, and aspects of a personal practice such as creating and clearing space, charm casting, talismans, and using crystals and herbs. The workshop will guide the crafting of some tools for personal practice and celebration, such as smudge sticks, elemental markers, broom adornment. A delicious Desert Rose vegetarian lunch is included in the workshop fee. All materials are provided.

Shelley Carter is mental health therapist. She also occasionally co-ordinates group art exhibitions. She enjoys following in the footsteps of her grandmothers, who divined with cards, and prepared herbal remedies. She considers herself a worshipper of nature, and enjoys looking back at the olde ways for her spiritual practice.
Stephanie Lines-Toohill is a community PSW and founder of “TUTU” Textile Arts youth group who have been stitching friendships together in the community since 2007. She believes in the power of diverse and caring communities working together to create positive change for all. She encourages people of all ages to find moments of wonder in nature and stay curious about their world and the importance of their connection to the Earth and all beings.
