Extend your summer garden by learning how to make open-faced dahlias with Jessie Chui of Crafted to Bloom. In this 3-hour beginner/intermediate workshop, you’ll learn how to use crepe paper to create one to two realistic-looking dahlias. Take-home instructions and templates will be provided, and you’ll have enough materials to make more flowers at home.
Jessie Chui is a paper floral artist known for her intricate paper florals and high-end arrangements. Her recognizable aesthetic of garden-inspired paper floral designs have been featured in a number of publications and blogs such as 100 Layer Cake, Lia Griffith’s Artist Interview Series, WedLuxe, Paper & Peony, to name a few. When she is not making paper flowers, she teaches her craft through her online courses, and she instructs private workshops and group workshops at the Aurora Cultural Centre and at The Paper Place in Toronto. She is a full-time mom to a 22-month old toddler, a lover of all things intricate, a soccer enthusiast, and a family lawyer by profession. Her studio, Crafted to Bloom, is located in Mississauga, Ontario.
