Youth Circus Project
Run away with the circus this summer for a fun-filled week of creativity and self-expression. Each day will feature a variety of skills training, circus crafts, and mini performances. Slackline, stilt-walking, juggling, acrobatics, theatrical clowning and so much more! This camp is designed to help young people build confidence and develop their physical literacy under the guidance of professionally trained circus artists from the Youth Circus Project.

Summer is not just for kids and neither is Summer Art Camp at the Elora Centre for the Arts. Adults are invited to join us in the studio and have some fun getting creative. No previous art experience needed! Saturday will feature paper marbling, watercolour with pen & ink, and lino block carving and printing. and it’s silly surrealist collage, step-by-step acrylic painting, and mini sculptures in bake-able polymer clay on Sunday. Both days will end with off-site art activities at the Elora Brewing Company where we will enjoy a true craft beer experience.

Canadian Art, Eh?

A hands-on introduction to the vibrant world of Canadian art through an exploration of three of our most celebrated visual artist: Emily Carr (Tuesday August 15), Maud Lewis (Wednesday August 16), and Lawren Harris (Thursday August 17.) Children will learn the fundamentals of drawing and painting, colour and composition while creating their own masterpieces inspired by the styles and techniques of these cultural icons.
