THANK YOU!
As co-chairs of the Artcetera 2014 organizing committee and on behalf of the Board of Directors of the Elora Centre for the Arts, we want to thank you for your attendance, participation and support of the 5th annual Artcetera fundraising event which took place on May 10th. Our new format of an ‘art elimination draw’ proved to be an entertaining activity and the evening, in addition to being fun and exciting, raised over $22,000!
As always we were overwhelmed by the community support of this event – from the 78 artists whose beautifully creative works were donated and the local businesses that contributed to our Silent Auction, to the generous corporate sponsorship that the event attracted and the tremendous volunteer and staff effort that went into planning and executing our annual fundraiser.
Artcetera 2014 not only raised much-needed funds for the Centre, but allowed us to promote our local and regional artists. Net proceeds from the event will assist the Elora Centre for the Arts in maintaining its position as the artistic focal point of the community. Thank you all for your support. We hope to see you soon at many other events at the Centre throughout the year.

The Elora Centre for the Arts is pleased to announce Artcetera, An Evening with Art taking place on Saturday, May 10, 2014. This fundraising event brings much needed funds to the Arts Centre and allows us to promote local and regional artists. This year Artcetera takes a new approach!Artcetera will be a gala reception with all the fabulous fixings… we will have live jazz with The Ernie Kalwa Trio, a Scotch tasting bar hosted by John Kissick, delicious local foods by Platters Catering, a small Silent Auction table with significantly wonderful items, including the popular Day Out with Red Car service including lunch and admission to an art gallery, a fun Photo-Booth with whimsical props and photos to bring home and additional surprises and guest appearances over the course of the evening! There’s more too… with the purchase of $250 ticket, which allows admission for two people, every ticketholder is guaranteed to go home with an original work of art at no additional cost.
The list of artists contributing artwork to Artcetera is impressive: All of the artwork donated has a minimum value of $250 with most of the pieces valued well above this amount. Over the course of the evening there will be elimination draws and each ticketholder will have the opportunity to choose a work of art to call their own.
