Fill up on fun and inspiration in a day devoted to arts & crafts. Draw, paint, sculpt, write and perform. Bring your nut-free snacks, cold lunches, and indoor shoes. Pre-registration required.

OSCATS! 9 YRS+
Tuesdays, Sept. 22 to Dec. 1
4 pm to 5:30 pm or 6 pm to 7:30 pm

‘Off Set Camera Arts Theatre Seekers’, teaches kids to grow their unique inner voice through improvisational drama, creative movement and movie making. It aims to inspire kids to support each other to be the change they want to see in the world. No class Oct. 27.

MADCAPS: ART AFTER SCHOOL!   5 to 7 YRS and 8 TO 11 YRS
Wednesdays, Sept. 23 to Nov. 4

Madcaps is a pilot project aiming to offer kids a fun, safe and creative place when school is out. MADCAPS is loosely structured but supervised, in order to give kids the opportunity to spend time cartooning, sketching, sculpting, beading, playing games, reading, and homework!?

STORIES & SKETCHES BY KIDS  8 TO 13 YRS
Wednesdays, Sept. 23 to Nov.4
6:00 pm to 7:30 pm
$100 M / $115 NM
Kids can put their imaginations to good use in this course on story building, character and book creations. Use your own story or let your images determine the outcome of your words. Exercises in drawing and painting, composition, foreground, background, perspective, colour, style, page layout and font (typography) will come together to create a professionally-crafted book. Supplies included.

YOUNG IMPRESSIONISTS  5 TO 7 YRS

Are your kids serious about learning how to draw and paint what they see? Using lessons and exercises from the Impressionist era, contemporary concepts - your young artist will feel confident with every swipe of the brush! Supplies included.

Develop your child’s voice and confidence as a Singing Star! Singers will learn the fundamentals of vocal expression through singing games and the exposure to different music genres. Weekly exercises / games consist of vocal warm-ups, breath control, annunciation, pitch, rhythm, and tempo.                      Recital: Thursday, Nov. 19th at 7pm. Instructor: Bronte Vincent      

KID’S KNIT & STITCH  7 TO 10 YRS
Thursdays, Sept. 24 to Oct. 22
4:30 pm to 6 pm
$50 M / $60 NM
Join this 5 week programme designed for kids wishing to work on the tricky skills required for knitting, crocheting and sewing. Be creative. Dream up a design for headbands, a purse, a scarf for mum, or even some accessories for your favourite stuffed animal.

Join a growing group of ART fanatics! With the support of the Centre, youth from all over, are finding their home at the Elora Centre for the Arts. They are creating, marketing and governing their own arts activities. Call or email for info!

Courses may be cancelled one week prior to commencement if enrollment is below minimum.
Students will be contacted only in the case of a cancellation.
Courses that are cancelled by the ECFTA will be refunded in full.
Fees are non-refundable unless in the case of an emergency.
Fees will not be issued for missed classes or dropouts.
You may choose to receive a credit or transfer to another class.
Class size is limited. Prices include all applicable taxes.
