What is the Friends Campaign?

The Friends Campaign is an organized effort to secure annual, ongoing philanthropic support for the Elora Centre for the Arts.  Established in 2008, the Friends Campaign promotes annual giving and provides Elora Centre for the Arts members, students, and friends with the opportunity to support the Centre.  All dollars raised are allocated to sustaining the Centre, supporting operating expenses and ensuring arts educational opportunities for current and future generations.

The mission of the Friends Annual Campaign is to establish and advance lifelong relationships with friends of the Elora Centre for the Arts, and to secure the resources needed to support excellence in arts education, teaching and exhibition.

Other benefits are:

  • It offers the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy that that will support the future of the Elora Centre for the Arts and this community;
  • It enhances your lifetime relationship with the Elora Centre for the Arts;
  • It allows you to realize tax benefits in your current financial planning and/or lower the taxes for your estate.

Planned gifts can be undesignated, and thus can be used to support the Centre’s current highest priorities, or can create art competition awards, fund arts education programs, or help to satisfy capital or equipment requirements.
